The NGA Commercial GEOINT Solutions Group (S5) and the USGIF cordially invites you to attend free unclassified workshops co-sponsored with the USGIF’s Commercial Synthetic Aperture Radar Satellite (CSARS) and Earth Observation (EO) Working Groups. The workshop will be one hour long sessions geared to introduce participants to the latest developments in commercial SAR and electro optical satellite imaging and applications.

During Commercial SAR Overview and Introduction to SAR Applications sessions, participants will be introduced to the capabilities and advantages of commercial space-based SAR. Participants in the Special Topic sessions will be provided in-depth presentations of selected applications supported by SAR imagery, such as mapping and feature extraction, maritime domain awareness, disaster monitoring, and digital elevation models.

During the EO Working Group modules, DigitalGlobe and GeoEye will highlight the ways to get access and use commercial, high-resolution imagery through NGA’s EnhanceView program. End users will get specific instruction on the benefits and use cases for commercial imagery plus learn more about future capabilities.
